Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll activities accurately and on time. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of payroll experience and strong knowledge of payroll procedures, employee records management, and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within the scheduled timeline.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, attendance, leaves, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, and related documentation.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
  • Monitor and verify timesheets and attendance records.
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll information and employee data.
  • Assist in payroll audits and reconciliation processes.
  • Support the preparation of end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other payroll transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Good understanding of labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP or payroll software systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
