Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team and manage end-to-end payroll operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and hands-on experience with payroll processing in compliance with UAE labour laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee payroll records and salary structures
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS requirements
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, leave balances, gratuity, and final settlements
  • Prepare and post payroll-related accounting entries
  • Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding, exits, and salary changes
  • Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare payroll reports and support audits when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 36 years of payroll accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, EOS, and gratuity calculations
  • Proficient in payroll systems and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Experience managing payroll for multiple entities
  • Knowledge of accounting software
