Role: Payroll Supervisor

As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the payroll team, ensuring accurate payroll processing, tax compliance, and timely reporting in accordance with local and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the processing and maintenance of payroll records, including vacations, sick leave, overtime, taxes, and other payroll-related items.

• Prepare and submit payroll tax deposits, employer contributions, and government reports.

• Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll.

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll and tax ledger accounts.

• Maintain records for federal and state withholding taxes and social security or equivalent programs.

• Transmit and receive payroll files and process related reports.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best-in-class payroll practices and processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
