Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Team Leader

Location: New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt

We are a leading construction company specializing in large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Team Leader to oversee payroll operations, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and lead a payroll team in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the payroll team, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll activities for employees, laborers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule, including overtime, allowances, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Review payroll calculations and verify employee attendance, timesheets, and related records.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and project teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and management summaries.
  • Handle payroll audits and support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and payroll system enhancements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate payroll team members.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, labor laws, taxes, and social insurance requirements.
    • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience in using Odoo ERP System is highly preferred.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
    • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

    • Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
