Brief Job Description:
- Identify specific requirement and prepare specific schedules for tests, samples and analysis for plant process and equipment in coordination with laboratory and participate in implementation of the same.
- Participate in process HAZOP and Plant Operations reviews.
- Participate in compliance of documented procedures, quality plans, standard and codes.
- Monitors production and consumption data and to find deviation from design data if any and to find reasons for deviation and suggest corrective action.
- Monitors stocks of consumables and initiate timely action to procure the same.
- Participates in developing and review of SOP, work instructions and startup shut down procedures and schedules.
- Participate in troubleshooting in the plants and to coordinate with process engineer in identifying specific problem areas or areas requiring technical changes in production plans.
- Maintain records of production, consumption, critical parameters, checklists, and trip logics.
- Participates in preparation of monthly and annual budget.
- Review major production problems with supervisors to find out the cause and remedial action and if felt necessary to send for process engineering study in consultation with specialists.
- Preparation of daily, monthly, and annual summary reports for the management. Monitors plant utilization, energy consumption efficiency of plant and major equipment.
- Strive to build up strong operation team and to improve team knowledge and performance.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years Experience in PDH Plant Operations MTBE Olefin Cracker
Skills & Competences:
- Working knowledge of common computing software such as spreadsheets, Microsoft word & power point.
- Good oral and written communication skills in the English language
