Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission permanent downhole pressure/temperature gauges and associated monitoring systems.
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot surface acquisition units (PT, DTS, DAS).
- Verify equipment readiness through pre‑job testing, integrity checks, and system diagnostics.
- Ensure correct installation and termination of control lines, TEC cables, and/or fiber‑optic cables.
- Coordinate field activities with drilling, completions, and service teams at rig site.
- Prepare accurate tallies, as‑built schematics, and post‑job technical reports.
- Perform real‑time system monitoring, data verification, and initial data interpretation.
- Conduct all rig‑site activities in compliance with HSE policies, PTW systems, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation and well start‑up.
- Maintain documentation, contribute to procedural improvements, and support equipment readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years field experience with permanent downhole monitoring systems (PDHG/PDHMS).
- Experience installing or commissioning electronic gauges and/or fiber‑optic sensing systems (DTS/DAS).
- Solid understanding of well completion architecture, including packers, feed‑through systems, and upper completion integration.
- Ability to perform system diagnostics, verification tests, and data acquisition.
- Proven rig‑site experience (onshore and/or offshore).
- Strong technical reporting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessments, and permit‑to‑work processes.
- Relevant technical diploma/degree in petroleum, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
- HUET/BOSIET and other offshore certifications preferred.
