Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse - Dubai

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced PICU Nurse to join its pediatric critical care team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing specialized nursing care to critically ill infants and children, with a strong understanding of pediatric intensive care protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition with appropriate clinical interventions.

• Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and manage life-support equipment.

• Collaborate with pediatricians, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Support families by offering clear communication, emotional reassurance, and education on treatment plans and recovery.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all care provided.

• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in emergency response situations and pediatric resuscitation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a PICU or similar pediatric critical care environment.

• Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority).

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.

• Strong clinical skills, pediatric care knowledge, and ability to manage high-stress situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with children and families.
