Job Description

As the People Development & Learning Lead for LOral Cairo Factory, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning programs that enhance employee capabilities, drive performance, and support the factorys business objectives. You will work closely with HR, department heads, and global L&D teams to deliver impactful training solutions that align with LOrals learning culture and industrial excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute the annual learning roadmap for the factory, aligned with business needs and LOrals global L&D strategy.

Identify skill gaps and training needs through collaboration with department heads and HR.

Ensure a strong focus on operational excellence, technical upskilling, and leadership development.

  • Training Design & Delivery:

Design and deliver engaging learning programs, including technical skills training, safety & compliance, and soft skills development.

Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to enhance accessibility and impact.

Partner with external training providers and internal experts to ensure high-quality learning interventions.

  • Performance & Impact Measurement:

Track and measure the effectiveness of learning programs through KPIs, employee feedback, and business impact assessments.

Continuously improve training initiatives based on data-driven insights.

  • Employee Engagement & Development:

Promote a strong learning culture within the factory by fostering continuous development initiatives.

Support talent development programs, leadership training, and career pathing for employees.

Drive engagement in LOrals global learning initiatives and digital academies.

  • Compliance & Safety Training:

Ensure mandatory training programs (health & safety, quality, compliance) are effectively delivered and documented.

Work closely with EHS and Quality teams to maintain high compliance standards.

Key Requirements

68 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment.

Strong experience in training needs analysis, instructional design, and training delivery.

Familiarity with digital learning platforms, e-learning tools, and blended learning approaches.

Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical skills to measure training impact and drive continuous improvement.

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a multinational company, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma is a plus.

Certifications in training, coaching, or instructional design are a plus.
