Job Description

Position description: Assist in managing People and Development sector projects by gathering requirements, coordinating execution, and ensuring alignment with objectives. Serve as a key contact for supporting internal and external audits related to people and development initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating projects assigned to the People and Development sector, such as Human Capital transformation, system enhancements, and other ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Support the collection of data and inputs from various functions to assist in the development of KPIs for the People and Development sector. Track and report progress periodically to the manager.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the People and Development budget by gathering inputs, monitoring cash flow, and supporting compliance with financial processes and guidelines.
  • Assist in the implementation of the P&D annual plan by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather project requirements from stakeholders to support defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Help maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, providing regular updates to the manager.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to the manager for resolution.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and periodic reports on project progress and outcomes for management.
  • Support the coordination of the annual People and Development audit exercise, ensuring all necessary documentation and follow-ups are completed.
  • Act as a support contact for internal and external auditors during the audit process, assisting with closing identified gaps.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment in projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of people and development programs.
  • Support the identification of improvement areas and propose initiatives under the guidance of the manager.
  • Provide general administrative and project-related support to the line manager and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in the field of Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • A professional certificate in project management is preferable such as PMP
  • Preferable to have 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar field/position.
