We are looking for a data-driven Marketing Executive to own our organic and paid search channels. You will be responsible for growing visibility, driving qualified traffic, and maximising ROI across SEO and Google Ads. This role has no social media remit it is focused entirely on search performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Display, Performance Max)
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and ongoing technical SEO audits
- Implement on-page and technical SEO improvements in collaboration with developers
- Build and manage link-acquisition strategies and outreach programmes
- Write and refine ad copy, landing page copy, and meta content
- Set up and manage Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and goal configuration
- Report weekly and monthly on traffic, rankings, CTR, CPC, ROAS, and leads
- Manage advertising budget to achieve agreed cost-per-acquisition targets
- Collaborate with the content team to align SEO strategy with editorial output
- Monitor algorithm updates and adapt strategy accordingly
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years in a dedicated SEO and/or paid search role
- Proficient in Google Ads — Search and Shopping campaigns at a minimum
- Strong grasp of technical SEO: crawlability, schema markup, Core Web Vitals
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make decisions
- Excellent written English for ad copy and on-page content
- Google Ads certification is desirable
