Job Description

Job Title: Performance Specialist

Job Summary

Performance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and evaluating contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and organizational standards. The role focuses on performance measurement, contract administration, cost control, and continuous improvement to support efficient contractor management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

  • Develop, monitor, and report contractor performance against established KPIs, including schedule adherence, cost control, quality, and service delivery.
  • Analyze contractor performance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and contract outcomes.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports and dashboards for management review.

Contract Administration & Compliance

  • Review contractor scopes of work and monitor compliance with contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure contractors adhere to contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address contract performance issues and support corrective actions.

Audit & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular contractor performance reviews, site audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Identify performance gaps, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contractor performance.

Cost Management

  • Monitor contractor costs against approved budgets and track contract-related expenditures.
  • Review invoices, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with contractual terms and company governance.
  • Support cost analysis and reporting to optimize contract value and financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in contract management, contractor performance management, vendor management, or project management.
  • Experience in metals, heavy manufacturing, aluminum, industrial, or similar process industries is highly preferred.
