Job Description

Contract: 12 months (renewable/extendable)

Employment: Outsourced through Manpower

Role:

To provide safe, punctual, and discreet chauffeur services to the Managing Director (MD) and immediate family. This role requires exceptional professionalism, strong moral character, and high flexibility to support the MD's schedule, personal errands, and daily travel requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Chauffeur Services

  • Safely transport the MD to the office, official meetings, events, airports, and other destinations across the city/state.
  • Provide driving support to the MD's family such as appointments, and personal errands when instructed.
  • Maintain punctuality and ensure routes are planned in advance.

2. Route Planning & Navigation

  • Plan efficient routes using knowledge of roads and live traffic updates.
  • Stay familiar with major business hubs, free zones, embassies, airports, and government offices.

3. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is always clean, sanitized, fuel-ed and in excellent operating condition.
  • Monitor and schedule timely servicing.
  • Record all travel logs, fuel expenses, maintenance updates, and daily inspection checks.

4. Executive Support & Errands

  • Handle confidential document pick-ups, deliveries, and other tasks involving sensitive information.
  • Run personal errands for the MD and family with utmost discretion.
  • Assist with airport support, luggage handling, and coordination.

5. Professional Conduct, Appearance & Confidentiality

  • Maintain excellent hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Practice polite, respectful, and service-oriented behaviour.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding the MD's schedule, personal matters, and conversations.
  • Uphold professional ethics, honesty, and strong moral character.

6. HSE & Compliance

  • Strictly follow traffic laws and company driving policies.
  • Practice defensive driving and conduct safety checks before each trip.
  • Report any incidents, fines, or vehicle issues immediately.

Flexibility:

  • Working Days: 6 days per week (or as per company policy).
  • Hours: Typically 8–10 hours/day, but must be FLEXIBLE for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • On-call Requirement: Should demonstrate flexibility and be available at short notice, even on weekends.
  • Preferably owns a personal vehicle to reach the MD's residence quickly when needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid Light Vehicle Driving License with a clean traffic record.
  • Minimum 5 years driving experience; executive or VIP driving experience preferred.
  • Preferably owns a personal car for commuting during emergency calls.
  • Excellent personal hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance.
  • Strong knowledge of routes, traffic conditions, and shortcuts.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
