Job Description

Job Purpose

The Pest Control Coordinator is responsible for planning, overseeing, and coordinating all pest control activities across assigned facilities to ensure a hygienic, safe, and pest-free environment. This role involves managing service schedules, supervising pest control teams or vendors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records of treatments and inspections. The coordinator plays a vital role in safeguarding public health and supporting the company's commitment to high standards of environmental hygiene and facility maintenance.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

Operational Oversight

Plan and schedule regular pest control treatments across all assigned facilities.

Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to ensure timely and effective pest control activities.

Conduct routine inspections to identify pest activity and recommend corrective measures.

Vendor and Contractor Management

Supervise third-party pest control service providers to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.

Review and verify service reports, treatment effectiveness, and chemical usage documentation.

Ensure all service providers use approved materials in line with local regulatory guidelines.

Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure pest control activities comply with UAE regulations, municipality standards, and company HSE policies.

Maintain records of pesticide use, safety data sheets (SDS), and risk assessments.

Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions in cases of pest infestations or non-compliance.

Monitoring and Reporting

Maintain accurate logs of pest control schedules, treatment outcomes, and inspection reports.

Identify trends, report pest activity, and recommend preventive strategies.

Prepare and submit regular updates and performance reports to management.

Team Coordination and Training

Liaise with facility supervisors and housekeeping teams to support sanitation and pest prevention practices.

Provide awareness sessions to staff on early detection and reporting of pest activity.

Ensure all personnel involved in pest control activities are adequately trained and certified where required.

Inventory and Materials Management

Monitor and manage pest control materials and equipment, ensuring safe storage and usage.

Coordinate procurement of approved pesticides and tools in accordance with company policy.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction

Respond to pest-related complaints and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Provide guidance to clients on pest prevention best practices.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective pest management programs.

Education & Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Biology, Facility Management, or a related field.

Experience and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum of 3–5 years ofexperience in pest control operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role, preferably in the facility management sector.

Approved by Abu Dhabi authorities ADPHC.

Hands-on experience managing pest control services for residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.
