Role Description The Pest Control Officer – Dubai role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for delivering safe, effective pest management services across residential, commercial, and industrial client locations in Dubai. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying pest issues, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and implementing integrated pest management (IPM) solutions in line with local regulations and company standards. The role involves handling and applying approved pest control materials, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality and internal safety protocols. The Pest Control Officer will collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and client representatives, provide clear guidance to customers on preventive measures, and support emergency call-outs when required to maintain hygienic and pest-free environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) skills, with practical experience in identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations.
• Knowledge of PEST (political, economic, social, technological) factors affecting pest control operations and service delivery in the Dubai region.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, reporting findings, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Basic Lawn Care and outdoor treatment skills to manage pests in landscaped and outdoor areas.
• Relevant pest control certification or license recognized by Dubai Municipality or UAE regulatory authorities.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to chemical handling and pest control activities.
• Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments, following company safety procedures.
• Previous experience in pest control or environmental services, preferably within the GCC or UAE, is an advantage.
• Valid Dubai Municipality Pest Control Officer approval/certification is mandatory.
• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in Dubai is a plus.
