The integration and optimization specialist primary role is to ensure good integration across the various LTC projects and individual units with a focus on integration and optimization opportunities to improve the project economics.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Improving LTC program projects economics
- Addressing opportunities aspects relating to integrating the hydrocarbons which are transferred between a refinery and a petrochemicals facility. This would be at different levels including; within same complex and/or with other neighboring facilities.
- Optimize Refinery Process Flow & Fuels Blending
- Optimize Steam Cracking Feed Selection, Process Flow and Configuration
- Optimize Aromatics Feed, Products& Recovery
- Indicate process Interactions at the Refinery/Chemical Plants Interface
- Conduct Techno-Economic Evaluations
- Participate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in refining and petrochemicals process units, including at least five years in integration and optimization.
