About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid QCHP Pharmacist License, possess strong experience in insurance approvals, and have a valid Qatar driving license. This role requires excellent communication skills, customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with QCHP regulations.
- Process and manage insurance approvals.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper documentation, pharmacy inventory, and controlled drug records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support pharmacy operations, deliveries, and external tasks when required (driving license needed).
Requirements
- Candidate, currently based in Qatar.
- Valid QCHP Pharmacist License (mandatory).
- Experience in insurance approvals and dealing with major insurance providers.
- Minimum 13 years of experience in an outside/retail pharmacy setting.
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
