We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have relevant post-registration pharmacy experience and meet the licensing and eligibility requirements of the Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH/DHP).
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescriptions and applicable regulations.
- Provide professional advice to customers regarding medication use, dosage, precautions, and possible interactions.
- Review prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication dispensing.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Support inventory management, stock monitoring, and expiry control.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with patients and customers.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, professional standards, and Qatar healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Work effectively within flexible retail and shift schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is required; MPharm will be an advantage.
- Valid Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH/DHP) Pharmacist License is preferred.
- Candidates with BPharm/MPharm may also be considered if they have completed the required DHP evaluation and are eligible for licensing.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience after pharmacy council registration.
- Community/retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
- For MPharm candidates: minimum 2 years of post-registration experience; Prometric/N.P.Q.E. completion is preferred.
- For BPharm candidates: minimum 2 years of post-registration experience with Prometric/N.P.Q.E. qualification.
- Prometric, DataFlow, and MoPH/DHP eligibility are required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
- Must be currently available in Qatar.
- Must hold a transferable RP/visa.
- Willingness to work flexible retail/shift schedules.
