As a Pharmacist, your activities will include;
- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications to patients, ensuring proper labelling, dosage, and directions.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory control.
- Provide comprehensive patient counselling on medications.
- Answer patient questions and address concerns regarding medications and health conditions.
- Educate patients on over-the-counter medications and health-related products.
- Follow-up daily on the approvals through regular communication with insurance companies.
- Handle and process customer payments, and complete transactions.
- Additional responsibilities according to the pharmacy operations.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- 2-5 years experience in a retail pharmacy.
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
