Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria, Egypt. As a Pharmacist Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations during your shift. Your duties will include supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate dispensing of prescriptions, managing inventory, providing immunization services, and responding to customer inquiries about medications. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and promote high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations during the assigned shift to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and cashiers, and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Review and dispense prescriptions accurately in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide professional medication counseling and ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and request needed items to maintain availability.
  • Manage sales processes and contribute to achieving shift targets.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Ministry of Health regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare end-of-shift reports and submit them to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Minimum 24 years of experience in community pharmacies; supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent knowledge of medications, treatment protocols, and drug interactions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
