Job SummaryWe are looking for professional and experienced Freelance Phlebotomists to provide safe, accurate, and patient-centered blood sample collection services at patients homes across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood collection, ensuring proper patient identification and specimen handling, and coordinating the timely delivery of samples to the designated laboratory or courier.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct professional and safe venipuncture and blood sample collection during home visits.
- Verify patient identity and ensure the requested tests and collection requirements are correct.
- Properly label, document, and handle collected specimens according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain sample integrity and ensure appropriate storage and transportation conditions.
- Follow infection control, biosafety, and standard precautions at all times.
- Explain the collection procedure and any required patient preparation clearly and professionally.
- Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience during home visits.
- Coordinate with the laboratory and/or courier to ensure timely sample delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical information.
- Report any collection difficulties, incidents, rejected samples, or patient concerns promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness, readiness, and appropriate use of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
- Complete required visit and collection records accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Valid SCFHS professional classification/registration is a MUST.
- 2–4 years of proven experience in phlebotomy and blood sample collection is a MUST.
- Previous experience in home healthcare or home blood collection is preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduled home visits professionally.
- Valid Saudi driving license and access to reliable transportation.
- Arabic is required; English communication skills are a MUST.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
