Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Photo Editor located in Heliopolis. The Photo Editors will be responsible for working with the images captured by our photographers and ensuring they are edited, formatted, and prepared for digital upload and sharing. The key responsibilities for this position include:
Responsibilities:
- Photo Editing and Manipulation: Selecting, cropping, and adjusting images, including white balance, exposure, contrast, vibrancy, resolution, saturation, and sharpness using tools like Photoshop.
- Maintaining Image Quality: Ensuring all images adhere to our branding and platform style guidelines to enhance user engagement and interaction on both our app and website.
- Postproduction Retouching: Performing photo retouching tasks to clean and enhance product images before they are published.
- Timely Deliveries: Submitting completed photo collections on time to meet deadlines for the review cycle.
- Staying Current with Trends: Keeping up with the latest editing technologies, design trends, and best practices to continually improve the visual quality of our content.
Qualifications:
- Skills in Photo Retouching and Image Editing
- Experience in Photo Research and Photography
- Strong attention to detail and artistic sensibility
- Proficiency with photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred
