About the Role:
We're looking for a PHP Team Leader to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of PHP developers, ensuring the delivery of high-performing, scalable, and secure applications. This role requires both strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide and mentor team members while collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new features and applications.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with the Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver projects on time.
- Review code and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and propose scalable solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 12 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Strong experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter preferred).
- Solid understanding of MySQL, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
