Role Description The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote fitness, motor skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles for students from kindergarten to secondary levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing sports activities, organizing games and exercises, assessing students physical progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves collaborating with other teachers and school leadership to align P.E. curriculum with overall educational goals, supporting school events, and communicating regularly with parents and guardians about student development. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, requiring consistent presence during the school week and participation in relevant school activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Physical Education and Education, with the ability to adapt activities to different age groups and abilities.
  • Skills in Sports Coaching and Teaching, including guiding students in various sports, team activities, and individual fitness routines.
  • Experience with Curriculum Development in P.E., capable of designing structured lesson plans and assessment methods aligned with school standards.
  • Relevant degree or certification in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, safe environment that supports diverse learners and encourages positive behavior and sportsmanship.
  • Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in school-based P.E. teaching or youth sports programs is highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to student well-being, professional ethics, and ongoing professional development.
