Physical Education Teacher

Position Overview:

Sharjah American International School (SAIS) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated physical education teacher to join immediately our Middle and High School Girls Section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a passion for promoting fitness and health, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Organize and oversee sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
• Promote health, fitness, and wellness among students.
• Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education into broader educational goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle and high school girls sections.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (native English speaker or IELTS 6+).
• Strong knowledge of fitness training, sports science, and injury prevention.
• Passion for teaching and motivating students to maintain an active lifestyle.
• Experience in planning and coordinating school sports events is a plus.
