Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients requiring rehabilitation following acute medical conditions, injuries or surgeries
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies to optimize outcomes
- Provide expert consultation on physical medicine and rehabilitation interventions
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, therapies and home care strategies
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Board certification or equivalent credentials in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE
- Proven clinical experience managing rehabilitation patients in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse healthcare teams and patients
