Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Abu Dhabi. The Physiotherapist will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients in their homes, including comprehensive assessments, development of individualized treatment plans, and implementation of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, documenting clinical findings, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. The role also involves educating patients and family members on rehabilitation goals, safe mobility, use of assistive devices, and home exercise programs to support long-term recovery and independence. The Physiotherapist is expected to adhere to local regulatory requirements and company protocols, maintain accurate records, and participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Recognized bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure/registration as a Physiotherapist in Abu Dhabi (e.g., HAAD/DOH or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment and treatment planning, including functional assessments, goal setting, and outcome measurement for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
  • Proficiency in delivering therapeutic interventions such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, mobility and gait training, respiratory physiotherapy, and pain management techniques appropriate for home care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families, build trust, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Ability to work independently in the community, including safe handling and positioning, time management, case prioritization, and accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
  • Experience in home healthcare, community rehabilitation, or similar settings is highly desirable, along with familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices in home environments.
