Physiotherapist- Pediatric

We are looking for a Physiotherapist in Dubai!

Requirements:

Professional Licensing:

Holding a valid DHA license is mandatory to practice.

Malpractice Insurance is mandatory.

Maintaining your professional body registration.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution (Master's degree is a plus).

Valid DHA Physiotherapist License or eligibility to obtain one (mandatory).

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-qualification in paediatric, musculoskeletal, or neurological

physiotherapy practice.

Additional CPD certification that further secure expertise is desirable (e.g. courses in neurodevelopmental approaches etc.)

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with children with developmental challenges, neurological conditions, or physical

disabilities.

Experience in a multidisciplinary paediatric therapy setting.

Additional certifications in paediatric therapy or specialized physiotherapy areas.

Skills & Competencies:

Deep knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, assessment methods, and rehabilitation principles.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children and families effectively.

Excellent use of the English language (spoken & written).

Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment programs.

Proficiency in maintaining professional documentation and clinical records.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Adaptive, patient-centred, and culturally sensitive approach.

Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with flexibility

Must have a friendly and positive demeanour with high ethics and a good sense of humour.

Must be passionate working with children and in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

The Physiotherapist will provide expert assessment, clinical intervention, and ongoing rehabilitation services to children with diverse physical and developmental needs. You will work closely with therapists, families, and other professionals to design and deliver effective programs that improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Your role is essential in ensuring that therapy services are safe, engaging, and aligned with best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, including physical examination, mobility analysis, and

functional evaluation.

Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals and clinical findings.

Deliver therapeutic interventions (e.g., manual therapy, posture and gait training, therapeutic exercises) in line with current evidence-based practice.

Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate.

Educate families and caregivers on home programs, therapeutic strategies, and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with DHA regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (e.g., occupational therapists, speech therapists, educators) to support holistic care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings to enhance service delivery.

Promote a supportive, engaging, and child-focused therapy environment.

Client and Team Support

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Develop any new policies or guidelines in accordance with your role.

To create/ review and streamline systems to ensure the best productivity and outcome.

To maintain client confidentiality at all times.

To do all responsibilities under the guidance of the Head of Department and the Managing Director.

To ensure that any annual leave is taken during off peak times, so as not to disrupt therapy team when it most busy.
