Job Summary:
The guardian of the technical fleet, ensuring maximum uptime for specialized piling rigs (Bauer, Casagrande, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Designing and enforcing strict maintenance schedules for hydraulic piling rigs, cranes, and decanting plants to prevent costly mid-project breakdowns.
- Breakdown Recovery: Leading rapid-response teams to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical failures on-site.
- Workshop Management: Overseeing the central and mobile workshops in Libya, including the management of specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Spare Parts Logistics: Managing the inventory of critical wear parts (teeth, augers, hydraulic hoses, filters) and coordinating international procurement from Egypt or Europe.
- Asset Lifecycle: Monitoring engine hours and performance data to advise on major overhauls or when a machine needs to be retired/replaced.
Typical Requirements:
- Experience:10–15+ years in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years specifically focused on foundation/piling machinery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of heavy hydraulics, diesel engines (CAT, Cummins, Perkins), and electronic control systems used in modern piling rigs.
