Piling Rig Operator

Role Description This full-time, on-site Piling Rig Operator role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Piling Rig Operator is responsible for safely operating piling rigs and related heavy equipment to execute foundation works in accordance with project plans and technical specifications. Daily tasks include setting up rigs, aligning and positioning equipment, monitoring drilling operations, and ensuring proper installation of piles, casings, tubing, and related pipeline components. The role involves performing routine equipment checks, reporting mechanical issues, coordinating with site supervisors and engineers, and maintaining accurate records of drilling parameters and production. The operator is expected to follow safety procedures, comply with local regulations and company policies, and support general site activities to ensure efficient and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate and manage heavy equipment, including piling rigs and related machinery.
• Strong skills in equipment maintenance, including routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and coordination of repairs.
• Experience working with tubing and pipelines in foundation, drilling, or construction environments.
• Hands-on experience with drilling operations, including pile installation, soil investigation, or foundation drilling.
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards and commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and work instructions.
• Previous experience as a piling rig operator or in heavy construction/foundation work preferred.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in heavy equipment operation is an advantage.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and to perform manual tasks as required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a diverse site team.
