PingFederate Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support the PingFederate platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO and federation services.
• Support authentication flows, certificates, and identity integrations.
• Support SAML, OAuth, and OIDC integrations with enterprise applications.
• Participate in system changes, upgrades, testing, deployment, and post-change validation.
• Troubleshoot incidents and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with IAM, application, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Education & Qualifications

• BCs. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ Yrs of relevant experience supporting PingFederate or similar federation/SSO platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, federation, and identity integration concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SAML, OAuth, and/or OIDC.
• Good understanding of digital certificates, authentication flows, and identity integrations.
• Experience with configuration changes, integrations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and deployments.
• Experience working in enterprise production or managed-services environments.

Technical & Professional Capabilities

• Ability to troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to participate in controlled change, release, and deployment activities.
• Ability to support platform upgrades, including preparation, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade validation.
• Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and participate in knowledge-transfer activities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with business users, technical teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendors.
• Ability to work within ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service-management processes.
