Job Description- Pipeline Designer
Position Title: Pipeline Designer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Purpose
Execute pipeline design activities within Concept, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
Ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of pipeline design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
Independently perform the pipeline design scope drawings for Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, B31.8, API RP 1101, etc.) and project specifications.
Coordinate and interface with process, piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, materials & corrosion, safety, construction, geotechnical, structural and civil teams to resolve technical issues.
Mentor and train junior engineers; provide technical reviews and feedback.
Ensure engineering integrity, quality assurance and document control for all pipeline-related deliverables.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, toolbox talks, and knowledge sharing.
Support field execution and construction activities as needed, including site visits when required and as-built documentation.
Experience
Minimally 8+ years of experience and proven track record in delivering onshore pipeline deliverables in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Requirement 2: Highly capable and efficient in preparing (hands-on) all onshore pipeline engineering drawings independently and simultaneously working on multiple pipeline projects. Owns assigned tasks with high degree of responsibility. Flexibility & adaptability to maneuver dynamic and evolving project environment.
Key Requirement 3: Experienced in Iraq field development projects.
Experience in onshore pipeline constructability is highly desirable.
Familiarity / experience in offshore pipeline and subsea engineering is a bonus.
Education & Qualifications
Minimum Diploma, Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g. Pipeline, Mechanical or similar applicable degree).
