Piping/Pipeline Hydrotest Engineer- Aramco Experienced- Oil & Gas Pipeline Project

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ahsa for a Piping/Pipeline Hydrotest Engineer with Aramco project experience in oil and gas pipeline projects. The role involves planning, preparing, and executing hydrostatic tests for pipelines and piping systems in accordance with Aramco and international standards. The engineer will review pipeline designs and test plans, perform technical calculations, verify material specifications, and ensure proper selection of test equipment and test media. Daily tasks include coordinating with construction, quality, and safety teams; monitoring field activities; overseeing test procedures; and documenting test results, punch lists, and completion certificates. The role also includes identifying integrity or corrosion issues revealed during testing, recommending corrective actions, and supporting compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Pipeline Engineering and Pipeline Design for oil and gas projects.
• Candidates should possess solid understanding of Pipeline Integrity and Corrosion to assess system reliability and durability.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in technical Calculations related to pressure testing, stress analysis, and fluid mechanics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience on Aramco pipeline projects, particularly in hydrotest planning and execution.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, Aramco standards) and quality assurance practices.
• Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during field activities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams.
• Proficiency in using engineering and documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, technical drawing review software).
