Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing pizza ingredients such as dough, sauces, toppings, and garnishes
  • Follow standard recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Support the Pizza Chef in assembling and cooking pizzas using ovens or other equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station before, during, and after service.
  • Ensure all equipment (ovens, mixers, cutting tools) is cleaned and used safely.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP or internal guidelines).
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Check freshness and quality of products before use.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Basic experience in a kitchen environment; prior experience in pizza preparation is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, especially dough handling, slicing, and simple cooking tasks.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent preferred).
  • Ability to follow instructions from senior chefs and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in pizza making, oven operation, and station management.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual kitchen tasks.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and shifts as required.
