Description
We are seeking an experienced Planner for SPIR (Scaffolding, Painting, Insulation, Refractory) to join our team in the Gulf region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for scaffolding, painting, insulation, and refractory works.
- Coordinate with site managers and supervisors to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues early.
- Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate planning documents.
- Facilitate communication between various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7-15 years of experience in project planning within the construction or industrial sector, specifically in SPIR.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and safety standards related to scaffolding, painting, insulation, and refractory work.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
