Responsibilities
You will be responsible to oversee and manage planning functions within our Data Center. This role will be critical in ensuring the effective scheduling, coordination, and execution of data center projects and operational activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies for data center projects, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain long-term and short-term plans, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational scheduling.
- Analyze operational data and trends to forecast future needs and adjust plans accordingly
- Oversee the creation and management of detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, facilities, and IT, to ensure timely and effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Track and report on project and performance, including adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in planning, project management, with a strong background in data center environments or similar industries.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and schedules.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in planning and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
