Job Summary:
The Director of the Planning and Analysis will oversee the development of a process strategy focused on formulating the internal strategy components for the entity. This role is responsible for developing long-term financial models, leading the annual budgeting process, evaluating business performance, and delivering actionable insights that support executive decision-making. The Director partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to assess operational trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment between financial goals and organizational strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing and developing policies and procedures related to planning and analysis.
- Detailing an operational strategy that explains the various levels of contribution to achieving the goals of the entity.
- Responsible for Annual planning to identify the resources needed to implement the entity's strategy.
- Preparing the general framework for the Authority's strategic plan.
- Track KPIs, identify trends, and recommend operational improvements.
- Preparing analytical reports on strategic progress and improvement proposals.
- Updating strategic plans based on changes in the relevant environment
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering / Strategic Planning / Business Administration / Project Management / Management Information Systems) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Certificates: CPA, PMP, CBAP, CMA, Six Sigma or equivalent professional certifications are advantage.
