Job Purpose:
To review and implement planning and performance management processes across Qatar Foundation Pre-University Education entities, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, measurable KPIs, and reliable reporting.
Key Result Areas:
- Review and implement planning processes and procedures for schools, centers, and central offices, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans and measurable KPIs.
- Coordinate entity-level annual planning across initiatives, manpower, revenue, and non-staff costs.
- Conduct performance reviews of allocated entities and initiatives, integrating both financial and non-financial KPIs, and provide recommendations to improve alignment, effectiveness, and accountability.
- Design, develop, and refine institutional performance reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support management decision-making and corporate reviews.
- Provide advanced analysis, including projections and scenario planning, to assess resource implications for large-scale initiatives such as introducing new programs, or scaling operations.
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews, preparing comprehensive analyses of actual versus target performance and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Support the development and monitoring of corrective action plans for underperforming initiatives, ensuring follow-through and continuous performance improvement.
- Develop and review feasibility studies and long-term outlooks for schools and centers to inform decision-making on major projects and strategic priorities.
- Provide guidance and expertise to entity focal points on planning and performance practices, delivering training and coaching to strengthen institutional capability.
- Facilitate integration between the planning and monitoring cycles, ensuring that entity submissions are coherent, aligned, and consistently reviewed against strategic objectives and KPIs.
- Document and maintain quality management processes for planning and performance, incorporating feedback to enhance efficiency, standardization, and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to special projects and cross-organizational initiatives as required, providing strategic analysis, performance insights, and decision support to enhance institutional effectiveness.
- Flag and escalate strategic risks, including misaligned resource allocation or ineffective strategy translation, to ensure leadership intervention.
- Lead the assessment, RFP, and implementation of planning and performance systems, ensuring solutions are suitable, integrated, and effectively managed.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field.
- 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience in planning, performance management, or data analysis.
- Strong expertise in entity-level planning processes (manpower, financial, non-staff, and enrollment) with proven ability to translate strategy into actionable business plans.
- Advanced skills in performance management, including KPI design, performance review cycles, dashboards, and corrective action planning.
- Demonstrated experience in feasibility studies, projections, scenario planning, and long-term outlooks for large-scale initiatives.
- Familiarity with planning and performance system assessments, including RFP development, vendor evaluation, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, dashboards, AI-enabled planning).
- Excellence in analysis and systems thinking with strong organizational development and planning skills.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong influencing and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex ideas with clarity; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
