Job Description

Double Marks is seeking an experienced Planning & Cost Control Engineer for a major data center project in Riyadh.

The position combines project planning, progress measurement, quantity tracking and cost control. We are looking for someone with strong contractor-side experience who understands construction execution and can connect the schedule to actual site production and project costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, update and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Prepare detailed 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Monitor actual progress against baseline and identify delays and critical activities.
  • Track manpower, equipment, quantities and productivity against plan.
  • Measure progress based on actual installed quantities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Prepare progress curves, manpower histograms and productivity reports.
  • Forecast completion dates and support preparation of recovery plans.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and maintain BOQ and quantity tracking.
  • Prepare and support monthly progress payment applications.
  • Measure and track subcontractor quantities and progress.
  • Maintain variation and additional-work registers.
  • Track project costs, commitments, actual expenditures and cost-to-complete.
  • Support procurement and cash-flow forecasting based on the construction schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records supporting progress claims, variations and delay analysis.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, QA/QC and Procurement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of contractor-side construction experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of structural construction sequencing.
  • Experience with quantity take-offs, BOQs, progress measurement and payment applications.
  • Experience tracking manpower and construction productivity.
  • Ability to integrate schedule, quantities, progress and cost.
  • Reinforced-concrete/structural project experience preferred.
  • Saudi Arabia/GCC experience preferred.
  • Data center experience is an advantage, but not required.
  • Transferable Iqama and immediate/short-notice availability preferred.
