Planning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong civil engineering background. If you have expertise in project planning, reporting, and claim reviews within the construction sector, this role is for you.

You will play a pivotal role in driving project success by ensuring strategic planning, accurate forecasting, and effective resource allocationdelivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project

Develop baseline programs in line with contract requirements

Define project milestones, critical paths, and activity sequences

Prepare resource-loaded schedules (manpower, materials, equipment)

Update project progress on weekly and monthly basis

Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

Generate S-curves, histograms, and productivity reports

Present schedule updates to management and clients

Coordinate with cost control team for earned value analysis (EVA)

Coordination

Work closely with Project Manager and Site Engineers

Coordinate with procurement for material delivery schedules

Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and construction timelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5-8 years in construction planning and project controls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge on project cost management is an advantage.
• Good understanding of contracts

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: AED 10-15K/month
