Role Summary

As a Planning Engineer (Electrical), you will be responsible for resource planning, utilization tracking, forecasting, and project control reporting. You will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and stakeholders to ensure efficient deployment of manpower and equipment, accurate planning data, and clear visibility through dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manpower & equipment resource plans in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Track and monitor resource utilization, allocations, and availability across ongoing projects.
  • Maintain and update qualification / competency matrices to ensure correct resource deployment.
  • Support project control activities including planning data validation, bookings, and planning coordination.
  • Manage planning activities in SAP ERP (e.g., project setup, bookings, billing coordination, planning updates).
  • Prepare and deliver dashboards and periodic reports using Excel and (if applicable) Power BI.
  • Analyze planning and operational data to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast future resource requirements and improve planning efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • 26 years of experience in planning / project control / operations within electrical projects or engineering services.
  • Strong knowledge in resource planning, utilization tracking, and reporting.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel (tracking logs, reporting, analysis).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
