Are you an early-career Planning Engineer looking to build strong experience in project controls, reporting, and site coordination within complex MEP projects

We are looking for a Junior Planning Engineer to support planning and reporting functions, ensuring accurate progress tracking, programme updates, and effective coordination across the project team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager / Lead Planning Engineer, you will support planning deliverables and project controls through accurate reporting, tracking, and coordination across the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development and updating of baseline programmes using Primavera P6
• Updating project progress using data from site registers, trackers, and reports
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports in line with project requirements
• Capturing and maintaining progress records, including site progress photographs
• Supporting KPI tracking and reporting for project performance monitoring
• Preparing and updating three-week and three-month look-ahead schedules
• Monitoring engineering deliverables (drawings, materials, method statements) against programme
• Tracking long-lead material delivery and highlighting priorities to the project team
• Coordinating with site teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
• Supporting development of floor plans/zoning layouts for progress tracking
• Updating labour productivity and site performance data

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2+ years experience in planning within MEP or construction projects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Exposure to reporting, progress tracking, and KPI monitoring
• Knowledge of Power BI and advanced Excel is an advantage

• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
