Planning Engineer

We are hiring Planning Engineer on behalf of a leading technology solutions company specializing in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and AV (Audio Visual) systems based in Riyadh - KSA, delivering integrated technology solutions across the Middle East. With expertise in system design, supply, installation, and integration, the company serves a diverse range of commercial and specialized projects, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities: Planer  

• Preparing base line plan (primavera) for ongoing projects and make sure it gets approved by contractor/ client at beginning of projects.
• Update project plan periodically as per contract terms and condition.
• Update on monthly basis from engineers and update project plans.
• Raise any delay events may accrue on project and raise the same to project manager.
• Assist in preparing claim for delay events as per contract terms and condition and raise to contractor / client.
• Support the planning team in maintaining accurate project documentation and progress reports
• Implement Company quality system.
• Train staff on selected topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Diploma holders with strong experience in planning can also be considered.
• Professional certification in Primavera P6 (PMP or Planning certification is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction methodologies.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer in construction, MEP, ELV, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Experience in developing baseline schedules, updated programs, and recovery schedules.
• Hands-on experience in project planning, monitoring, and progress reporting.
• Experience in preparing look-ahead schedules (weekly and monthly).
• Experience in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
• Experience in coordinating with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Experience in preparing delay analysis and EOT (Extension of Time) claims.
• Experience in project reporting to clients and senior management.
