Planning Engineer

_Required: Civil Planning Engineer to work in contracting company- Abu Dhabi – UAE.

Full Job Description

We at LAZOURDY is looking for a Planning Engineer to work with us. The rightful candidate must be from civil engineering background and handled similar project planning tasks related to civil engineering domain.

Qualifications:

-Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ with 5- 12 years experience in UAE.

-Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.

-Experience: Proficiency in project management software, Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project Baseline Program, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, and milestones.
• Utilize project management software, Primavera P6, to create and update schedules.
• Prepare and update Project Weekly & Monthly progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and other visual aids.

·Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues.

·Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations.

·Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable

·Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts applying this information

·Knowledge of cost control is an advantage
