Are you a skilled Planning Engineer with strong EPC project experience in the Oil & Gas industry We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Qatar.
In this role, you will create project schedules, monitor progress, and help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. If you enjoy solving problems, working with project teams, and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules for EPC Oil & Gas projects.
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Perform schedule analysis and recommend recovery plans when needed.
- Prepare look-ahead plans and resource-loaded schedules.
- Support project planning meetings and client progress reviews.
- Ensure planning activities follow project requirements and company standards.
- Use planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- GCC experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6. Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
- Good understanding of EPC project life cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
