Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare baseline project schedules in compliance with contract requirements, using Primavera P6.

  • Review and integrate schedules related to engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.

  • Monitor project progress and update weekly/monthly schedules based on actual execution.

  • Prepare project planning deliverables including WBS, manpower histograms, S-curves, productivity reports, and resource loading plans.

  • Track critical path and highlight schedule risks, delays, and mitigation plans to management.

  • Conduct delay analysis, including EOT (Extension of Time) justification reports as per contractual guidelines.

  • Coordinate planning activities with the project control team, subcontractors, and discipline leads.

  • Interface with procurement for monitoring long lead items, vendor schedules, and material availability to avoid delays.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports as per ADNOC format and present updates to management and client.

  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and internal planning procedures.

  • Support cost control and budget tracking teams by providing schedule-based forecasts and progress validation.



Qualifications & Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical relevant discipline).

  • Minimum 8+ years experience as a Planning Engineer in EPC / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Plant Construction projects.

  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle, resource planning, and construction methodologies.

  • Experience with ADNOC, ARAMCO, PDO, or similar major industry clients is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills in English.
