Planning Engineer Team Leader

Role Description The Planning Engineer Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This position is responsible for leading the planning team, developing and maintaining project schedules, and coordinating production planning activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Daily tasks include preparing and updating detailed work plans, monitoring progress against milestones, analyzing project performance data, and implementing corrective actions where needed. The role also involves collaborating closely with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to align resources, manage risks, and support effective project control. The Team Leader will contribute to continuous improvement of planning procedures and tools, ensuring clear communication of timelines and priorities across the organization.
Qualifications

• Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience creating and managing detailed project schedules.
• Solid analytical skills to interpret project data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting project status to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project control practices, including monitoring progress, managing risks, and reporting performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience in construction or engineering projects, preferably in a leadership or supervisory planning role.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and MS Office tools.
• Ability to lead and mentor a planning team, prioritize tasks, and work under time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
