Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Planning & Inspection Engineer, based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Planning & Inspection Engineer will be responsible for maintenance planning and performing inspections, monitoring equipment performance, and conducting testing to identify potential issues. The role involves collaborating with production, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and optimize maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inspection schedules for mechanical, electrical, and process equipment.
- Plan preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Review inspection reports submitted by third party and plan for the corrective actions.
- Well experience in rotating equipment inspection and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance plans, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (or related field).
- Experience: Minimum 57 years of relevant experience in inspection and maintenance planning within heavy industry or chemical manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and dye penetrant testing.
- Understanding of risk-based inspection (RBI) principles.
- Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance planning.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and technical manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Residence: Must be residing in Alexandria, Egypt.
