The project:

PMO implementation for a mixed use development in a suburb of greater Muscat. It will comprise of mainly residential, retail areas and large areas of public realm.

Supports planning and project management by ensuring tenders and projects are aligned, scheduled, and monitored. Responsible for planning medium-complexity projects or portfolios, contributing to timely, profitable delivery and effective programme outcomes.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Demonstrable portfolio / program management experience working Client side in a PMO environment.
  • Handsons experience in Oracle Primavera P6 is a must.
  • Create a written procedure for developing the master program enables collating progress metrics from project to program to portfolio level reporting along with a standard set of schedule management and reporting templates.
  • Lead the Master Schedule development and monitoring throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead dependency, interface management, and ensure proactive management and tracking of all milestones.
  • Work with Reporting team to develop schedule KPIs and produce real-time reporting dashboards of programme status.
  • Develop written procedure for conducting periodic Schedule Risk Assessment and lead implementation.
  • Review, assess and provide determination on EOT claims.
  • Create Planning onboarding packs, lead onboarding workshops for all Consultants / Contractors and ensure those are formally communicated to all supply chain (consultants/contractors/developers).
  • Plan and conduct regular audits to assess compliance of supply chain (consultants/contractors/developers) with the Client's planning processes & procedures and put in place plans for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process/procedure for schedule change management and controls to systematically capture, assess and evaluate impact on master program.
  • Conduct hands on training workshops for Client staff and the supply chain on any of the planning processes and procedures as required.
  • This will be a Client facing role and will be expected to present to the SLT, project / program teams and their supply chain.

You'll need to have:

  • Proven client-side PMO experience.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Ability to deliver programmes independently.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in progress.
