Job Summary:
Madkour Group is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to head the planning function across its portfolio of power, energy, water, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee all project planning activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning department across multiple EPC projects nationwide.
- Prepare and validate progress reports, dashboards, and manpower histograms.
- Monitor project performance and support corrective action plans where required.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule integrity.
- Conduct delay analysis, claims assessment, and forecasting for ongoing projects.
- Establish and implement standard planning procedures, KPIs, and reporting formats for all projects.
- Mentor and supervise a team of planning engineers to enhance their technical capabilities.
- Report project performance and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 15 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or group planning management role in EPC projects.
- Proven experience in power generation, substations, water treatment, or large-scale infrastructure projects in Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycles, and delay analysis techniques.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
