Planning & Performance Lead

Job Title: Planning & Performance Lead- Food Manufacturing Factory

Location: Industrial Area, 6th of October City, Giza

Job Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Capacity Management

• Develop and monitor production plans based on customer demand and factory capacity.
• Monitor production capacity, utilization, and operational constraints.
• Coordinate with Production and Supply Chain teams to ensure production plans are achievable.
• Identify potential production delays and support corrective actions.

2. Performance Monitoring & KPI Management

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPIs.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management.
• Analyze performance gaps and identify areas for improvement.
• Track productivity, efficiency, waste, and production performance.

3. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support demand forecasting and align it with production capacity.
• Follow up on the execution of agreed production and operational plans.

4. Cost & Financial Performance

• Work closely with Finance to monitor production costs and operational expenses.
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
• Monitor operational performance against financial targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

5. Productivity & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Support initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and production losses.
• Analyze processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Follow up on improvement initiatives and measure their results.

6. People Performance

• Provide operational KPIs and productivity data to support employee performance reviews.
• Work with HR and Operations to monitor team productivity and performance.
• Support the development of performance targets and KPIs.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, operations, performance management, or a related role.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of production planning, capacity management, and KPI tracking.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
